The activity park in Sjöbo is a nice addition to the public spaces in the city. Spaces for three main activities with common areas were placed between existing paths. New landscape blends the park with surroundings and additionally prevents noise pollution from the skate park. Centrally situated skate park offers a big bowl (“The copper snake”), small bowl and flow area which is seamlessly integrated into multi-functional paved plaza that leads to the boules court. Parkour area is situated on the opposite side. We have worked closely with three different user groups from the local community from day one and they have been a large part of the outcome.
